Award-winning scriptwriter Kristine Jensen has spent her career shaping narratives across film, marketing, and documentary storytelling, earning three Telly Awards along the way. Now she brings that storytelling depth to her debut novel, Wednesday Club.
Inspired by the real handwritten minutes of her grandmother’s rural women’s club in South Dakota, Wednesday Club takes readers back to 1963. Sixteen-year-old Ivy Hanson is sent to live on her grandparents’ farm after her Hollywood-bound mother leaves her behind. Reluctantly serving as secretary to a group of older women who meet monthly to discuss current events, serve their community, and share the realities of rural life, Ivy slowly finds herself drawn into their world.
In this episode, Kristine shares how a box of forgotten notebooks that became the inspiration for her novel, what it took to write her first book while working full-time, and why stories about women and friendships matter.
This Lovefest episode celebrates the love that holds communities together and the quiet power of women who show up for one another.

Mình chỉ lướt nhanh thôi mà vẫn thấy họ chia nội dung theo từng khối rõ ràng, kiểu kéo xuống là biết đang ở phần nào, không phải mò mẫm. Thử mở trên điện thoại thì trang tự co lại ổn, chữ không bị bé xíu hay lệch khung, bấm mấy mục trên menu cũng dễ trúng. Mình thích nhất là cách họ sắp xếp bố cục gọn gàng, các mục được nhóm lại nhìn rất “dễ thở” trên trang.
keo nha cai hôm trước mình cũng tò mò vào thử vì thấy nhiều người bàn tán. Mình kiểu chỉ lướt nhanh xem bố cục có dễ nắm không chứ không ngồi đọc kỹ. Vừa vào là thấy họ để bảng tỷ lệ dạng cột nhìn khá “đã”, odds với mức chấp tài xỉu nằm ngay ngắn nên scan một cái là hiểu đang ở đâu. Có cái hay là số liệu cập nhật liên tục, mình đổi qua tab khác quay lại vài phút là thấy con số nhích nhích rồi, cảm giác đúng kiểu theo thời gian thực. Menu cũng gọn, bấm qua lại không bị lạc. Nói chung mình thích nhất là phần bảng kèo hiển thị…

Vừa mở lên là thấy ngay mấy khung tỷ số trực tuyến với lịch thi đấu đặt khá rõ ràng, nhìn phát nắm được chứ không bị rối chữ. Mình thích cái cảm giác mọi thứ chia thành từng block, lướt xuống cũng dễ theo dõi. Có thêm cái thanh chọn múi giờ GMT kéo qua lại được, ai hay xem trận theo giờ khác chắc đỡ phải tự quy đổi. Mình chỉ nghía vài phút mà quen cách nhìn luôn, vì phần tỷ số và lịch nằm ngay trên trang, kèm thanh…

Mình có lướt trúng bài Stjarnan vs Valur (02h15 ngày 18 07), bên dưới còn có thêm phần kèo tài xỉu với phạt góc đi kèm nên tiện nếu ai muốn xem nhanh. Mình thích kiểu họ để nội dung theo từng khối, khoảng trắng vừa đủ nên đọc lướt không mỏi mắt, kéo xuống là các bài hiện thành cụm rõ ràng theo tiêu đề trên…
