D.S. has a strong interest in paranormal and fantasy romance. It was a difficult decision to chose a genre for the first romance books to publish with Burckhardt Books. That is until, unitl she was having a chat with another author about ghost hunting adventures they had both gone on when they were younger and the idea for the Haunted Hearts series came to mind. 

 

While in college D.S. went on several ghost hunting trips, but there were seven experiences that particularly stood out in her memory, one being a house her own family lived in for 13 years. Those seven are the basis of the first seven books planned for the Haunted Hearts Series. They will follow along as a ghost hunting reality TV crew battles corporate sabotage, personal demons, restless spirits, all while trying to make real connections with the people in their lives and just maybe find love along the way.
