Coming September 16th on Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt, I’m talking with author Lucy Ashe, a former professional dancer who trained at the prestigious Royal Ballet School before becoming a teacher and historical fiction author. We talk about her fascinating journey from the world of ballet to becoming a published novelist.
Lucy shares incredible insight into how she created her latest book The Model Patient, a historical psychological thriller set in early-1960s London. We talk about the troubling relationship between a young model and her psychoanalyst and explore questions of trust, manipulation, power, and what can happen when the person you trust to help you may be manipulating you.
