Book Banter Magazine is the companion publication to
Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt - Book Talk Podcast.
This magazine features authors from our podcast and publishing industry professionals. It is published every other month beginning in February to coincide with the start of the new podcast season with a special December issue featuring our Year End Holiday Book Buying Guide. This special issue is published earlier than regular issues for holiday shopping. The buying guide features every author who has been on the podcast for the current season.

This is also a special memorial issue. We pay tribute to Steve Stephens, the face of the pen name Stephen Burckhardt for his daughter Dianne Burckhardt and Rox Burkey, of the writing team of Breakfield and Burkey.

We have decided to continue publishing
one issue a year of Book Banter Magazine.
This issue will come out in print in November for holiday shopping. It will be a "year end book buying guide" and will feature every author from the current season. We will eventually have all back issues available in print as well

We are making a few changes here on our Book Banter Magazine page. We have ended our subscription with HTML5 website and have purchased Flip PDF Plus Pro software instead. We are rebuilding all of our previous magazines in the new program and will be publishing future magazines and possibly or own pdf books in the future as well. Dianne Burckhardt is the founder of Book Banter Productions as well as the host of Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt - Book Talk Podcast. She created Book Banter Magazine in 2023 as a print companion to her podcast, which is going to be going into its fourth season in 2025.

Pedro R. Burckhardt
You have known him for a while as the Executive Producer behind Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt - Book Talk Podcast (2023), but with the creation of Book Banter Magazine and Book Banter Productions, Pedro has taken on additional responsibilities. He is now the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Book Banter Productions (2024) and he has also joined the Book Banter Magazine editorial staff as our IT reporter (2024). As new and innovative technologies are being used in publishing, it only seems logical to have someone who can help us report on the benefits and pitfalls of navigating this new technological landscape. Pedro has more than 25 years experience in IT development and consulting, holds four IT related degrees, and numerous certifications in a wide variety of IT related specialties.
