Manic Monday: Strikes Again!

Hello My Happy People,

I am rushing around like a mad person today. I need to get rid of some stress so I have made a big decision. I am just going to start my vacation now and post "Out of Office" messages for the next two weeks. I constantly try to convince myself I am Wonder Woman and I can do it all, but ... I can't. I thought I would have enough time to write a bunch of blogs and schedule them to post while I was gone, but I just ran out of time and instead of driving myself crazy trying to get them done ... I'm just taking time off! I haven't done that since 2015 when I started this indie author endeavor so I think I have earned a few days off.

I am going to take a vacation from the podcast as well and pick it back up before Halloween. I have a friend here in Germany, Carrie Donovan, who just won a horror writing contest and she has agreed to come on the podcast and read her winning entry. I can't wait for that! She is a writer but also a singer/songwriter for a Rockabilly band and plays the upright bass. She is so cool. Check out her video and link information below. I will post dates for that podcast as soon as we set up the interview when we get back from vacation.

I also decided to stop the writing prompt challenge and just give the two entrants each $25 and call it good. I have not gotten any more submissions so it's time to quit trying to make it happen. It was an idea to interact more with my audience but not all ideas pan out and this one did not. We will turn the focus to our TikTok page. It is going well and we will try to use it for more interaction.

So this is it until Friday, October 21st. I will start back up with the Friday Funnies and carry on from there. Until then, you may get brief notices that we are on vacation and coming back soon. We will have photos and videos when we get back and hopefully the full plot for The Touch, another sneak peek of the story, and the cover reveal!
