Hello My Happy People!
I am finally starting to feel more like myself again. I still have a cough that is driving me crazy, but I feel so much better. My bruises are almost gone from the medical procedure I had last week too so life is good.
I have started doing some indepth research for my thriller, The Touch. I will be writing on Into the West: Family Ties later today and this weekend. I am laying out a cover for another friend's book, Lance Steen Anthony Nielsen (check out his work on Amazon). This will be the second cover I have done for him. The first was Pegasus Bridge.
I have also started interviews for season two of our podcast, Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt. We start off the new season with Australian bestselling romance author LM Wilson. Writing is a real family affair in her home. You should check out this interview!
This first podcast of season two just goes to prove how Murphy's Law (anything that can go wrong, will go wrong) keeps plaguing my existence. At the end of the last rebroadcast of our holiday break, I mentioned I planned to bring better sound quality in season two. So of course, the very first episode of season two we had sound issues!
There was something about our connection that was giving us feedback whenever Wilson would speak. We tried several things to get rid of it, but nothing worked. We think it might have been due to the kind of internet connection she uses. I'm trying to get rid of it in post, or at least make it less annoying, but it just figures this would happen. I tell you, Murphy hates me!
The interview was great though and we found out we have a LOT in common. It was so much fun and I know if we lived anywhere near each other, we would be meeting up for coffee and talking about books on a regular basis. I do have one change I am going to be making with my Manic Monday blogs going forward. Manic Mondays are changing from a regular blog to a vlog. I will be posting a video on TikTok on Mondays and I will share it here in a blog post so my regular followers can easily find them and just watch them on my site instead of searching TikTok. A: Not good. I used to have a handle on life, but then it broke.

A: I did, that is wrong on so many levels.
