Book Banter EP 90: Debbie Weiss Interview

Hello My Happy People,

I am sorry this blog is getting out a bit late today. I published the podcast on time, it has been live for a few hours now, but I was running late and had to get dinner started. FYI, I made another soup from Michele Di Pietro's cookbook, Soupified, which is featured in our November issue of Book Banter Magazine along with her Twice Baked, Loaded Potato Soup with Bacon recipe. This was the fourth recipe of hers we have tried and they have all been amazing! Our November issue also went live today and you can read it on our website, just click HERE after you have checked out our amazing podcast guest author in today's episode.

I am thrilled to share my interview with today's impressive author, Debbie Weiss. She is an accomplished entrepreneur and so much more. She has created a career that benefits not only herself but countless others with her work as a speaker, women's coach, podcaster, and author. At 50, Debbie made a significant change in her life, realizing life was too short to be spent always putting the needs of others before her own. She worked to change her self talk from "I can't" to "Maybe I can." Debbie consciously worked to change her victim mentality and refused to let her past dictate her future. After becoming a widow, Debbie became more determined than ever to share her message. Her debut memoir, "On Second Thought ... Maybe I Can," earned praise from Jack Canfield, co-author of The Chicken Soup for the Soul® series. Through her memoir and public speaking events, Debbie openly shares her struggles and strategies for success, working to constantly remind others they're not alone. Debbie acknowledges that life is tough, but works to be a beacon for others to show that dreams are worth pursuing.

She is a wonderfully friendly person and after speaking with her for just a few moments, it was clear how this woman is able to help so many others find their voice and begin to change their lives. Be sure to check out her full podcast interview by clicking the purple icon below and follow her on social media ... you will not regret it!

Have a great week,

Dianne
